Good Hair In UK Cinemas June 25, 2010

FYI!!!

Chris Rocks Good Hair will be hitting UK cinemas on June 25th 2010. I kinda feel a little cheated as the hype in America has kinda ended and I still have to wait till June to see it in the cinema much less get it on DVD.

I really hate going to the cinema, but I might make a day of it and take my mummy and my aunties.

I still haven't bought the American DVD as I am in that annoying state where our multi region DVD player broke and we cant decide whether to buy a new one or get a blu ray player
But that is a completely different kettle of fish.

I wanted to see this film as a bit of fun but the over publicity in American has turned this into an argument about race and lack of self worth. I just fancied a laugh. End Rant

Anyone going to see this or at this stage cant really be bothered??

Embrace!

Hello All,

I can only apologise profusely for my absence over the last month. I have been particularly unwell and haven't been near a computer for almost a month now. I am feeling slightly better today and thought I better get posting.

Thanks to all those who emailed and are still waiting patiently for replies, I will get back to you!

On the subject of Cantu Shea butter products, many of you have been waiting for my review, so here it is:

AfroDeityReview:

This product was a bit on the oily side, could be used more as a sealant to keep moisture in. I possibly put too much of this on as after an hour in the car had started to notice my hair, well it's smell anyway, and could be what my Auntie's refer to as 'sweet smelling'.

Price: £3.99

However this was not my favourite of the three.

AfroDeity Review:
Definitely my favourite of the all the Cantu products tried and I would recommend this to anyone on a budget. A really nice conditioning treatment and can be used as a leave in.

On first use of this Cantu shea butter product, the smell is the first thing you notice....amazing. I remember as a child my mum putting Dax pomade on my hair and it didn't smell anything like this. It is almost intoxicating.
