On a Budget

Relaxed and Desperate is the main theme of this blog - so it would follow that many of you like myself are either 'on a budget' or 'in a rush'.
It may seems from all my posts that you need an excess of money and time to follow any of my proposed regimes.
Not So My Friends!!

On a Budget
For those of you on a budget I recommend:

PrePoo - Virgin Olive Oil or Coconut Oil (free if you already have in your kitchen)
Apparently some Tesco stores sell these however the coconut oil may be harder to come by
Whatever you get check that there is no salt in it, most of the virgin oils are cooking oils and should be relatively low priced.
Tesco Extra Virgin Oil (250ml) - £1.00
If you prefer to use a conditioner rather than an oil
Tesco Coconut Conditioner for Dry/Damaged Hair (500ml) - £0.99

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner - £10.97. (This is the one I plan to try next)

CoWash
Organix Coconut Conditioner - Boots - £5.00

Shampoo
Organix Coconut Shampoo Boots - £5.00

Deep Conditioner
1 x Egg is probably your best bet
but if you can stretch to a deep conditioner I recommend:
or mix egg with

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner Sachet 20ml - Boots

Moisturising Conditioner
Organix Coconut Conditioner Boots - £5.00

Leave In
Curls Milkshake - £11.95

or Aussie Conditioner Miracle hair Insurance £3.99 Boots (contains JoJoba Oil - great for detangling)

Before I forget there is no need to buy those expensive plastic caps from Boots. I have been using plastic bags with a towel over it, for a while now and seems to do the trick

The above is the minimum I would recommend buying and use them sparingly - enough to cover your hair and pay attention to the ends.

Leave comments about what you use routinely that save you money or little tricks you have picked up on your hair journey that help you save.
